Here we go :) Give it a whirl. I didn't set it up for every single lexus model or feature, but it has most of the cool ones. I will probably create one or two others in the near future (month or so). If you think I should add anything in particular, post it as a reply to this as well as what your outcome is! Have fun! :)

We gather here in this community for our shared love of Lexus. They have & continue to make excellent cars that fit all sorts of needs. The LS430 competes with top end Mercedes, BMW's, & Audi's. The LX470 is a top competitor in the full size luxury SUV catergory. So my question for the members is: what should Lexus create as a new model? Or what can they do to their existing models to improve them? Any ideas? Thoughts?

The ES330 & ES300 are both great cars! When I took my parents cars to our Lexus dealer for service the loaner they gave me both times was an ES. The services were a month and a half apart so between them they had swapped an ES300 our for a new 330 so I got to test both out. Superbly quiet & fast for a car that size! The V-6 is quick and doesn't lose steam towards the triple digits in the speedo display. The ES is a small LS430 really. It's just not as long (wheelbase or physically) or feature oriented but the ride quality is the same almost. If the styling weren't so conservative I'd consider one as a used car purchase.

In regards to a previous post (ES300 w/ 180k miles) I was at my Lexus dealer and saw an LS400 with almost 270k on the odometer. Taken care of Lexus' will last as long as Honda's. Or so they tell me.

Well, I currently drive a 2002 Lexus RX300 and have been researching the long awaited Lexus RX400h a.k.a. Lexus HPX. Here's a pic:

I'm drooling! I thought the 330 was really neat, but the fact that it has a hybrid engine really gets me going :) Here's the Synergy Drive Engine:

And the navi panel which looks the same with exception to the detailed energy report SUPER COOL!

ahhhhhhh I only hope my RX300 held some value....I guess I'll make some of the money back with the lower fuel usage, especially since I drive around a lot. Not sure where to, but I drive around a lot. Anyone else in love with this car?

I went to the LA autoshow and took these pics of the IS430. Its be outfitted with the V* engine thats is in the GS. The body kit is the RMM (Rod Mullen Motorsports) bodykit and all the engine body and stereo work was done by RMM. I believe the stereo is like 21 speakers or something nuts. Pretty sick car. I not sure of the hp and tq numbers but I believe the 0-60 time was in the low 5 second range.

here are a few pics i took at the show:

Hello everyone. This is the first community I found dedicated to one of my very personal luxury cars, the Lexus. My favorite one of all time is the '98 GS400 sedan. However with limited income, I'm shopping around in reality looking for a '97 - '99 ES300 to purchase sometime in the next 4 weeks maybe. I always thought the ES style was handsome even if it was a bit conservative, but overall a beautiful piece of machinery. My name is Robby, I'm 20 years old, Chinese, and I live in Port St. Lucie, FL. I'm married with no kids yet, and I drive a Chrysler currently. I'm going to browse the Lexus of Palm Beach lot on Okeechobee Blvd when I have time to see what I can find. Meanwhile, here you go folks, presenting the new 2005 Lexus GS430 sedan. Evolutionary styling? Yes, sure is. Bigger, badder, faster, and lighter? Of course. The entry level GS330 uses the new 3.3 DOHC 24-valve V6 introduced in other Toyota products last year, in this application the Lexus is putting out 245 hp in rear or all-wheel-drive. The 4.3 DOHC 32-valve V8 continues to be a rear-driver only and will still be rated at 300 hp. Both engines still employ the VVT-i variable valve timing system. The sole tranny choice is Toyota's new 6-speed automatic with sequential E-Shift mode, with more improve quicker response than the previous iteration. Lexus promises 0 to 60 mph times to be around 7.5 seconds for the GS330 and 5.7 seconds for the GS430. Both cars will be restricted to 149 mph top speed governors.

I was racing an IS300 on the freeway in my '94 ES300 while I was driving home about half an hour ago and he fagged out. We were going about 90 or so weaving in and out of traffic.

New to the community, and here's my car:

As you can probably tell, I don't live in the US. My car is strikingly similar to the Lexus GS300 in the US but it's actually a Toyota Aristo VE here. And it comes with the 3000cc twin turbo 2JZ-GTE engine. Here's a pic of the engine bay. There's some massive engine mods there. You can see more in my LJ.

I reckon I am pretty close to 400rwhp if not more right now. Dyno scans to come soon. Cheers.

So, the newest Lexus prototype is titles the LF-S. I have a few kinks with it, so I will list them under each picture.

Well, it looks pretty wind resistant, but which end is the front? What about the windpockets for each wheel well?

I assume by the so called "lights" that this is the front... Reminds me of something like Blade Runner. I still think its neat even if it is a little wierd. Then again wierd is good. Most cars are so blah nowadays.

Now you can really see how the front should be the back! Also, notcie the vent in the wheel well in the back. Cool Idea!!!I still think it may for some kind of wind pocket, but I guess they have it all figgured out. LOL.

Ohwell, tell me what you think!!!

To a fan of luxury cars, the Lexus ES needs no introduction. Like all ES models that came before it, the ES 330 has interior styling that blends luxury appointments with an elegant and sophisticated feel. A perfect example is the standard leather interior, featuring a wood- and leather-wrapped steering wheel and wood-grain trim available in your choice of golden bird's-eye maple or burled walnut.

Of course, abundant power is a luxury, too. So the new ES 330 has a new 3.3-liter engine that propels the ES from zero to 60 in just 7.2 seconds [1]. Coupled with the new five-speed automatic transmission--which features wider gear ratios and better hydraulic pressure for better acceleration, gas mileage and smoother, more responsive shifts--you'll not only get around in an elegant manner, but a timely one as well.

In addition to all of that, the ES offers other features that are sure to quicken your pulse. For instance, there's the available Mark Levinson® Premium Audio System [2], featuring 11 speakers and 240 watts [3] of pristine sound. To make sure you don't get lost, we also have an improved version of our lauded DVD navigation system available, with public phone number-based location finding and building footprint display. Add in the available power-adjustable pedals with memory, and the ES 330 has definitely changed for the better.

The Lexus ES 330. It has the luxury appointments and countless refinements to position it at the very top of its class. Not to mention the power to stay there.

Well, I saw these pics and I had to post them!!! Sweet looking car. I've noticed a few things I'd like to see them put on an RX300 or 330.

oooooo look at that sleek design. Where'd the door handles go? :-P No keys to lose here!

Ahhhh the power of what appears to be hi-density LED's? Maybe fiber-optix....No one goes into details so I guess we will wait and see. VERY swEEt looking though!!!

It'll be nice to see this out or prototype stages....everyone knows they always destroy awsome prototype designs when releasing vehicles on the market. It's a shame because I've seen some very impressive models from all companies in the past 5 years and few have actually shown up on the market and usually they're totally different that the prototype even if they keep the model name. Ohwell...

Greetings...

My name's Jeff. I live in Montgomery, NJ and will be turning 17 next month. This community caught my interest because I'm just a fan of Lexus... I've always sort of had an eye out for them, but it all changed when my parents bought an RX300 in 2001. It's a great car. White with grey trim, HID headlights, 6 disc changer, navigation system, wood trim/wheel... I realize that some of those are standard, but we've never owned a vehicle like this before. We take a lot of long driving trips and it's extremely comfortable to sit in for an extended period of time. I can also submit that it's a pleasure to drive for all those hours, too - as I've driven as far as legally possible with a permit in NJ. My backwards, greedy dream is that my mother will decide to get an RX330 and give the RX300 to me, as I should be getting my license in December.

I am also in love with IS300 SportCross. It's such an awesome car. But for some reason, it seems to be very rare... I have seen exactly four in person. I saw one at NY Int'l Auto Show in 2002 and three on the road. I actually had the good fortune of driving behind a silver one for half of a trip down to Philadelphia last week. I would love to own one later in life... but did they discontinue it or something? If anyone has some info about it, or some really good photos of one, let me know.

Maybe I'll post some photos of the RX300 another time. Oh yeah, and a side note... I collect license plates - if you have some lying around that you're not using, let me know.
